Molco Car Parts has expanded its range with suspension springs from Suplex, a renowned supplier of OEM and aftermarket springs. The collaboration with Suplex was established after initial contacts at Automechanika 2024 and thorough market research. Thanks to this addition, Molco can now offer its customers an even broader and more specific range of high-quality suspension springs.
About Suplex
Suplex is an independent manufacturer with over 30 years of experience in producing and selling suspension springs. The company’s headquarters and distribution center are located in Willich, Germany, while the springs are produced in De Meern, the Netherlands. Production meets strict quality standards and is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment), and ISO 45001:2018 (safety).
With more than 6,000 references, Suplex offers a broad and complete product range with a market coverage of 80.27%.
Why Suplex?
Unlike some suppliers who often offer one universal spring for multiple applications, Suplex – like OE manufacturers – follows the original specifications and offers multiple springs per vehicle application. These are easy to identify thanks to the color coding on the original spring. This ensures faster identification in the workshop, better vehicle performance, and increased safety for the driver and passengers.
Additionally, Suplex springs are powder-coated rather than painted, providing longer life and better corrosion protection.
The right timing: suspension springs break more often in winter
Suspension springs are wear-and-tear parts and most frequently break during winter and early spring. Low temperatures, road salt, and moisture cause springs to corrode more quickly. Additionally, a mixture of water, salt, and dirt often forms in the lower spring seat, acting like an abrasive. This damages the spring’s protective layer and increases the risk of breakage.
By adding Suplex to its range, Molco Car Parts is responding to the seasonal demand for replacement suspension springs.
Availability
After several years of absence from the Dutch market, Suplex is now once again available through Molco Car Parts. The first Suplex items have already arrived and are immediately available via the webshop.
